"Brains 101" Program

Summer Neuroscience Research Program

Brains 101 is for high school students considering careers in neuroscience-related medical or research fields. Examples of professions in neuroscience include neuroscientist, neurologist, psychiatrist, or neurosurgeon. Activities will include brain dissections, augmented reality neurosurgery, neuroscience career day, a neuroethics debate, patient case study presentations, faculty research presentations with activities, and a mock research poster symposium.

Summer 2022 Dates

Summer Camp:

June 27-30th, 10am-3pm at Wayne State University Main Campus


Volunteer Orientation (required for volunteers):

June 20th, 6 pm on Zoom
